Hi, I’m Thea Dodds and I started Authentic Eye in 2004.  I have over 15 years experience as a photographer. I have a Bachelors degree in photography and my work has been featured in gallery shows, published in magazines including Newsweek, Kearsarge Magazine, Vermont Vows, NH Magazine’s Bride and others, and received recognition in international photographic competitions.

I started out my photography career in photojournalism.  I had a turning point that career choice after photographing one too many house fires and car accidents.  I started photographing weddings and absolutely fell in love with it.  Who wouldn’t – I professionally attend parties!

Photographing weddings led to photographing families and babies, and portraits led to a variety of commercial work.  Authentic Eye has grown over the last 7 years into a full service, boutique wedding and portrait photography studio conveniently located 10 miles from Plymouth, New Hampshire and I-93.

Our goal at Authentic Eye Photography is to provide exception, personal, artistic photography.  We aim to exceed your expectations at every step of the process, from the first time you call to the final order you receive.  We thrive on customer satisfaction.

At Authentic Eye, we don’t just take pictures we make artwork.  The difference is in the quality of work and service we provide.
